Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts; ensure compliance with agreed service levels and delivery timelines. Verify and process invoices, comparing with purchase orders and delivery notes to identify discrepancies. Maintain procurement documentation including contracts, purchase records, and correspondence. Monitor market trends to anticipate price fluctuations and their impact on material planning. Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. Generate reports and performance metrics; analyze data to identify areas for process improvements or savings. Handle supplier or logistics complaints efficiently to ensure continuity of operations. Maintain and regularly update the approved vendor list based on evaluations and compliance. Ensure all suppliers understand and align with the company's operational and quality goals. Coordinate import/export documentation and ensure adherence to relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with production planning and finance teams to manage material availability and budget adherence. Perform additional duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head.
